*******CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE IN LEADERSHIP: PROF. NWADIALOR HONOURED IN GRAND BOOK PRESENTATION AT TANSIAN UNIVERSITY.

On Wednesday, 6th November 2024, Tansian University, Anambra State, became the focal point of an exceptional gathering as scholars, dignitaries, and the university community assembled for the public presentation of the book: Dynamism in Administrative Leadership and Human Development: A Festschrift in Honour of Professor Eugene Okoye Nwadialor edited by E. J. O. Ndubisi, I. A. Kanu, A. Ngonadi, L. S. Edeh, E. Okorie, and C. D. N. Umeoduagu.
The event was an homage to Professor Eugene Okoye Nwadialor, Vice Chancellor of Tansian University, whose visionary leadership and dedication to educational administration have left a significant impact on academia and beyond.
Prof. Ejikemeuwa J. O. Ndubisi, the lead editor of the book, delivered an inspiring keynote speech that set the tone for the event. He began by highlighting the purpose of the gathering: to honour a man whose legacy embodies transformative leadership and human development. Prof. Ndubisi extolled Prof. Nwadialor as a leader defined by integrity, compassion, and resilience.
He shared how the Vice Chancellor’s unique Igwebuike leadership philosophy — which emphasizes unity and collective strength — has been instrumental in fostering a culture of inclusivity and growth at Tansian University.
The Festschrift, as described by Prof. Ndubisi, is more than a tribute; it is a scholarly effort to immortalize Prof. Nwadialor’s contributions and inspire future leaders.
The book’s twenty-one chapters, contributed by respected academics, delve into various aspects of administrative leadership and sustainable development, mirroring the qualities that make Prof. Nwadialor a distinguished figure. The editor also noted the book’s global impact, evidenced by its inclusion on academic platforms such as ACJOL.org and Google Scholar.
The event was presided over by Engr. Chris Tochi Nwajioke – the Relationship Manager of Polaris Bank, who praised Prof. Nwadialor’s exceptional administrative capabilities. Engr. Nwajioke spoke warmly of the Vice Chancellor’s dedication to fostering an environment of academic excellence and innovation, recognizing him as an exemplar of modern educational leadership.
Prof. Meshack Shadrack Ifurueze steered a comprehensive review of Dynamism in Administrative Leadership and Human Development. His analysis underscored the thematic richness of the book, with each chapter capturing elements of effective leadership and human-centered administration.
He commended the editors and contributors for compiling a work that not only reflects Prof. Nwadialor’s ethos but also serves as an educational resource for scholars, administrators and managers.
The Book Presenter / Chief Launcher – Chief Dr. Emma Onyeka Ejiofor, the Onishe of Ubulu Uku, delivered a powerful speech that resonated deeply with the audience.
He stressed the importance of celebrating individuals who make substantial contributions while they are alive. Dr. Ejiofor referred to the event as a testament to Prof. Nwadialor’s impact on numerous lives and urged attendees to learn from his exemplary leadership. His words reinforced the significance of recognizing and valuing the work of leaders who inspire growth and development.
The event was graced by a host of notable figures, including: Prof. E. Idemobi, Acting Chairman of the Governing Council of Tansian University; members of Tansian University’s Management; Prof. U. C. Nzewi, the former Vice Chancellor, Paul University, Awka; Dr. Uche Onyegbu, immediate past Acting Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, representing the institution’s Rector; Hon. Sir Ikenna Ofodeme, Majority Leader of the Anambra State House of Assembly; Chief Ifeanyi Atuigwe, President General of Ichi; Chief Maurice Okeke; Prof. Ezeabsili; Chief Felix Zontal; among other notable dignitaries. The presence of these dignitaries underscored the widespread recognition of Prof. Nwadialor’s influence and the respect he commands across various sectors.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to higher education and leadership, Prof. Nwadialor was presented with multiple Awards of Excellence by:

- Igwebuike Research Institute

These awards were a testament to his enduring legacy in human capital development and educational leadership.
