…..Chikezie Says, the Constituency Projects Commissioned Delivered on CNA, Meets Standard.

As part of efforts to give account of his two years achievements as Member Representing Aniocha South Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Austin Chikezie has said that the Constituency Projects as commissioned by Deputy Speaker, DTHA recently in two different communities of his Constituency were done based on Community Needs Assessment, CNA model in line with Community Development Service Delivery, CDSD model towards sustainable grassroots, or rural development.
The Delta Lawmaker, Hon. Austin Chikezie disclosed this to the media recently at Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South LGA headquarters in company of the Deputy Speaker, DTHA, Rt Hon Ochor Ochor who commissioned his Constituency Projects in Aniocha South Local Government Area, Delta State as the legislators counts achievements, marked two years in office towards effective and efficient Representation.
Member Representing Aniocha South Constituency, Hon. Chikezie, commissioned, presented six classroom blocks and principal’s and staff quarters, teachers’ Office, ceiling fans, white board, notice board and platforms for visual learning in fulfilment of his campaign promises, share of dividends of democracy to his constituents, two different communities -Adonte and Isheagu respectively to boost quality education and infrastructural Development in his Constituency.
Our reporter learnt that while commissioning the six classroom blocks at Aniga Primary School, Adonte and principal’s and staff quarters at Ifite Secondary School, Isheagu, Ochor observed that, “Chikezie has lived up to expectations of his people by fulfilling his campaign promises. When we keep our promises, it shows our commitment to God, humanity and to ourselves. He is a legislator who puts his job and service to the state first. Indeed, keeping his electoral promises goes to show how much he loves his people. ”
Our reporter interviewed some of the Constituents, community Leaders, education stakeholders poured encomium on Chikezie are: The former Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural resources, Works, Hon. Jerry Ossai, The Odogwu of Adonte, Chief Francis Okwuelum, Chief Inspector of Education (C.I.E.), Aniocha South Local Government Area, Mr. Iyara J.E., the Odogwu of Isheagu, Chief Innocent Uwafili and others who showed appreciation, commended Hon. Chikezie for the quality and delivery of the constituency projects to his constituents, communities.
The Lawmaker while commending Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on support and approval of those his constituency projects, thanked the Deputy Speaker, DTHA,his colleagues, Delta lawmakers, PDP Leaders, Adonte, Isheagu Community members, his constituents and staff for their support to PDP and the success story in his constituency, Aniocha South Local Government Area. Counting more achievements, the past six years, had been paying for the rented secretariat of Aniocha South PDP.
Hon. Chikezie stated: “I identified the projects based on Community NEEDS Assessment, while the contract was awarded by the relevant MDA. I promise to take future constituency projects beyond the education sector. And I won’t stop until all parts of the constituency feel the impact of my representation. As one who has served my people in different capacities as Councillor, Deputy Chairman, Aniocha South LGA, Commissioner, and presently as Honorable Member, DTHA, I understand the needs of my people”.
“My Representation facilitated reconstruction of Isheagu- Ewulu Road (Ward 9), from Ogwashi-Uku-Warri Road Junction, carried out renovation of Nsukwa Grammar School and that of Ejeme Aniagor. My Representation attracted FADAMA projects: an oil palm mill at Ubulu-Uku, rice mill at Aba-Unor, three oil mills, two poultry and one fishery at Ejeme-Aniagor. In employment generation. I facilitated the employment of constituents at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fire Service and the Teaching recruitment in 2020, as well as several liaison officers”.
“In April 2020, I presented bags of rice as COVID-19 palliatives to the 11 INEC wards in Aniocha South Local Government Area. He donated to the flood victims’ camp at Ewulu (Ward 9). My Representation facilitated restoration of peace at Ewulu and most recently, at Nsukwa. Prominent among my Bills in DTHA is the one on “Compulsory Registration of Farmers”, whose essence is to ensure that the real farmers are registered for easy access to government assistance. Politically. Also my Representation facilitated the creation of six DSIEC wards in Aniocha South Local Government Area and for the past six years, had been paying for the rented secretariat of Aniocha South PDP”.
