Delta@31: Education, Infrastructures, Human Capital Development, Others Tops Governor Okowa’s Tremendous Feats As Delta Civil Society Community Speaks

…..As Group Makes Case For Pensioners, Urges For CSOs Involvement In All Governance Processes.

The President Delta Civil Society Community, and Founder/Executive Director, Safe Aid Foundation, Dr. Martins Kedienhon has applauded the Executive Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa on the tremendous feats which Delta State Government has recorded in areas such as Education, Infrastructures, Human Capital Development and other critical Sectors of the economy since the creation of the State in 1991.

Dr. MartinsKedienhon made this disclosure in a press Statement today being on Saturday, 27th Day of August, 2022, which was made available to some group of Journalists in Asaba Delta State capital Commended the Governor on his developmental strides in Youth Development, Vocational and Technical Sectors.

Delta Civil Society Community also applauded the Governor in his accomplishments to had built the biggest, ultra-modern State Secretariat in Nigeria for the State that had helped the State Government workers to perform their duties under condusive atmosphere to boost productivity, progress and development in their various Ministries, Agencies and Departments of Government.

Delta CSOs leadership then enjoined the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to make it customary duty for Civil Society Organizations in the State to be involved in projects monitoring of the State so as to promote accountability and transparency in all the critical Sectors of the State economy.

The Leadership also called on the State Government to improve in the area of payment of Pensioners in the State such as retired primary school teachers, Civil servants in Delta to ameliorate their sufferings towards the promotion of Socio-economic and sustainable development as this is a serious concern to the public and Civil space
