Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa On Job & Wealth Creation, Hon. Chief Patrick OKEI has commended the Executive Governor of Delta State and PDP’s Vice Presidential Candidate to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa for creating Job and Wealth for the teaming Youths in Delta State through STEP, YAGEP and other Entrepreneurship Development Programs of the State Government, which he said is in fulfilment of the prosperity for all Deltans, stronger Delta agenda of this present PDP administration in the State.
Hon. Patrick OKEI made this remark today in Asaba, Delta State capital, while fielding questions from some group of Journalists today being 30th of September, 2022 in Asaba, Delta State capital as he charged entrepreneurs to be good Ambassadors, train and employ other Youths.
The business guru, Entrepreneurial giant turned politician and former PDP aspirant for Aniocha South Constituency Seat for 2023 PDP primary election, while thanking Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on his huge Investments on the program in line with the Governor’s Smart, stronger Delta agenda policy to had equipped the Youths beneficiaries on different Vocational skills, Agricultural career and other Entrepreneurship Development skills acquisition Programs, also appreciated the efforts made by the officials in charge of the program, trainers and other important personnel in terms of integrity, consistency and achievement of goals.
The Governor’s aide who expressed joy while reaffirming that Delta State Government led by his Boss, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa through the office of the Bureau of Job and Wealth Creation led by Prof Eric Eboh has since 2015 trained and established 6,075 youths in various businesses, vocational skills of their choice, through Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Programme (STEP), Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurs Programme (YAGEP) and The Graduate Employment Enhancement Programme (GEEP), which he said has completed six cycles from 2015 till date and still counting.
Hon. Okei stated further that Delta State Government under the leadership of Governor Okowa has performed more than any State in Nigeria and beyond expectations in terms of empowering the Youths, graduates towards actualizing their vision, potentials in Entrepreneurship Development; Skills acquisition Agricultural career for Leadership effectiveness and development, self-employment, self-development, self+discipline and self-management to become successful Entrepreneurs of global demand.
