Hon High Chief Victor Egbo, Commissioner Representing Isoko Nation in The Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) and Delta State Youth Leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has congratulated the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his well deserved victory as Supreme Court on Friday, January 19, 2024 upheld the Judgement of the appeal court, ruled in favour of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as the winner of March 2023 Guber election in Delta State and affirmed him as Delta State Governor.
Hon. High Chief Victor Egbo in a press statement made available to some group of Journalists today being on Monday, 22nd Day of January, 2024 in Asaba Delta State capital, he applauded the Supreme Court Judgement that affirmed the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Chief Sheriff Oborevwori as the winner of March 2023 Guber election in Delta State.
DESOPADEC Commissioner while Congratulating Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Legal victory used medium to commend all Deltans, entire PDP Family For their unwavering support to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori despite all odds. Also, he thanked God Almighty for giving victory to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori. The astute Politician and seasoned Delta PDP Party State Youth Leader then Commended Supreme Court judges for upholding the truth and their re-affirmation of People’s Governor.
Hon Victor Egbo while praying to God to grant Governor Sheriff Oborevwori the wisdom, grace and understanding to take Delta State to the promised land. He described Governor Oborevwori as a perfect gifts to Deltans, while he stated that, God is not a man that should make mistakes, that every good and perfect thing comes from him.
The Statement by Hon. High Chief Victor Egbo, Commissioner Representing Isoko Nation in the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) reads in parts: “On Friday, 19 January, 2024, in line with the Judgement of Appeal Court, the Supreme Court affirmed Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as the Executive Governor of Delta State by a five-man panel of Supreme Court Judges”.
“Your Excellency Sir, it is with great joy in my heart that I join Deltans resident both at home and in diaspora to congratulate you on your well deserved victory at the Supreme Court thereby re-affirming your status as the People’s Governor”.
