……..MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT COMMISSIONS TOILET FACILITY IN PRIMARY SCHOOL IN IDUMUJE-UNO.
In a bid to eliminate open defecation, the Permanent Secretary, Delta State Ministry of Environment Asaba, Dr. (Mrs.) Minnie Oseji accompanied by officials from the Ministry commissioned and handed over a 2 Unit Pour Flush Toilet Facility to Ojeifo Primary School Idumuje-Unor today.
The ceremonial ribbon was cut by His Royal Majesty, Obi Charles Chukwunwike Anyasi, the Obi of Idumuje-Unor supported by Her Royal Majesty Queen Esther Anyasi and other stakeholders.
Officials from the Ministry who were present at the event included the Director of Sanitation and Waste Management Mrs. Fransisca Atigan, the Deputy Director Mr. Hosanna Oghene, the Assistant Director and Supervisor of the Project Mr. Sylvester Ofuyekpone.
The Ministry of Basic Education was represented by the Deputy Director Pamela Okolosi while Sanitarian Ngozi Didibo represented the
Aniocha North Local Government Council.
The Head Teacher Mrs. Catherine Eke-Osu and the school children received all guests for the event with joy.
A complimentary copy of HRM’s latest book that is hot off the press titled “Vintage Treasure” was presented to Dr. (Mrs.) Oseji after the conclusion of the handover ceremony.
