*****As Delta ADC Affirms Party’s Readiness For The Local Government Election.

Hon Engr. Chukwuekwu Austine, the Delta State Chairman, African Democratic Congress (ADC), has expressed party’s readiness for this year’s Local Government Election in Delta State as he stated that, ADC remains the most credible alternative political party in the state.
Hon Engr. Okolie Chukwuekwu Austine made this known to the media soon after the party’s executive meeting held pen-ultimate weekend at the Party’s Secretariat in Asaba, Delta State Capita after addressing members at the meeting on Delta LG Election Agenda, he told the media ADC remains the only credible alternative political party in the state that can guarantee good governance at all levels.
Speaking to newsmen, he said: “I charge the aspirants seeking Chairmanship and councilorship positions under the party to double their efforts towards ensuring that they immerged victorious at the forthcoming local Government Elections in the State”.
“As Delta State Treasurer Inter-party Advisory Council, I assured the party aspirants that, Delta State Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Honorable Sheriff Oborevwori has promised not to interfer in the electoral process. We have taken him by his words. Also, IPAC Executives had meeting with the new DESIEC Chairman on this matter too”.
“DESIEC Chairman, has also assured that the will of the people will not be manipulated under his watch. And that, he will put machineries in place to ensure that the IPAC work in partnership with the Delta State Electoral Commission DSIEC to ensure that the vote at the various wards reflects the will of the people”.
“Also, I charge the opposition political parties to work for the victory of their candidates rather than listening to propaganda, that election results had been written by the party in power. Local Government election is community election and everything will be done at the polling units”.
“The party executive members who spoke at the meeting included amongst others are: Hon Sir Obus Doghor, Vice Chairman, Delta Central and the State Secretary of the Party, Chief Yebu Ebi Napoleon. The duo had charged the party members to remain focus, that a better Delta State is possible”.
